3rd trimester has gone into hyper speed and I thought it was best to focus my attention on the important tasks like packing my hospital instead of buying cute baby grows and searching Pinterest for nursery inspiration (also very important but not as urgent as the good old hospital bag!!)
When I started to make a list of what to put into my bags, I drew a blank. So I asked my sister who gave me her list which she worked from but I thought I would also ask the Mums of Instagram as you guys are a font of knowledge!
I am packing 3 bags- yes 3!
- Mums Bag– This will be my Longchamp Le Pliage weekender bag. It is super roomy and is great post birth too thats’ if we ever have another weekend away again…
- Baby Bag- I decided to use my Jem and Bea Lola changing bag for all of baby S’s essentials, I really love it and cant wait to use it once baby is here!
- Dad Bag/ Birthing Partner Bag– Simon is fully in charge of the contents of this bag. It will contain snacks, drinks and a change of clothes as well as a few things to help me along during labour.
I have made things a little easier by putting together a printable PDF template with space for you to jot down some notes of things you maybe need to purchase or to add in your personal items as each Mum has their own birth preferences and I respect that one size does’t fit all.
I hope this helps you yummy mummies-to-be, good luck with your packing and preparing for the arrival of your little one.
