I’m super excited to kick off my festive blog posts with some Christmas wreath making.
My sister and I booked this a few months back and I had been looking forward to it since then. The wreath making was hosted and demonstrated by the lovely team at Millson and Berry at the luxurious surrounding of the Ivory Pavilion which is part of Galgorm Castle in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.
After a quick demonstration from the team we got started!
I opted for something very simple but a twist on the traditional.
To create my wreath I used fir tree, eucalyptus, pheasant feathers, dried sedum and finished it off with an oversized coordinating red and brown bow.
After we had made our wreaths we certainly worked up an appetite and headed over to the castle for a yummy afternoon tea.
I think the finished wreath looks perfect on our stable door. All in all a lovely way to kick off the festive season!
Are you making a wreath this year?
